Spring Insight Intern Review

I thoroughly enjoyed it and I believe it extended my interest in banking and particularly a technology role within. It was not only informative but interactive. Work shadowing was a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding behind specific roles within divisions.

It was really inspiring to see many individuals of varying levels taking time from their busy schedules to interact with us and offer their advice. There was a large amount of encouragement in regards to us being potential employees at the bank.

I felt encouraged and eager to ask any questions of doubt and equally, interest. If there was any points of uncertainty, they were easily put to rest. The support and guidance on offer made me more decided of my choice of division.

The skills and knowledge I have learnt will greatly benefit me as it has only further encouraged me to pursue technology.

It was easy to see how much effort had been put into organising the insight and it came together extremely well.

It was very positive - everyone was eager to learn, not only from business representives but from one another.

As we were exposed to many different employees, it provided a greater understanding as to what exactly working at the firm was like.

I found that team work was central to the company culture and that was reflected across all divisions.

There was a large variety of information presented in different ways and that was helpful in developing a stronger interest in technology. It became apparent the extent to which the company was reliant on it throughout different sessions.

There were massive opportunities to network and I believe these were hugely beneficial in gaining a deeper understanding of what it was like to work in the industry and what would best suit me as a role.
