About You
I thoroughly enjoyed this insight programme. It exceeded all expectations I had.
I felt like I belonged in the team, everyone was so so friendly. I didn’t feel like I was troubling anyone and felt everyone wanted to help me.
The guidance I got during the programme was phenomenal. I was assigned my own buddy and team to work in, being the only intern in this team allowed me to get all the guidance and support I needed.
The information I could potentially lead me into a career for the rest of my life. However, I think it is hard to develop such skills in just a week.
The Company
I loved the structure of the insight, it made me feel like I was actually working at Citi, whilst still having workshops and talks to inform us.
I cannot fault the atmosphere of the banking floor I was on. Everyone was friendly, helpful and understanding. I felt completely at ease.
They invested everything they could into me in the space of a week. I don’t feel they could have given me better personal training.
Again they couldn’t have done this better in the space of a week, I felt like I was actually working there. The only thing is you can’t tell what it’s like to work in other divisions.
I completely understood that Citi is a friendly, global bank. They pride themselves on this and that’s why the evnvironment is such a nice place to work and learn in.
The insight allowed me to see that I could see myself working there and that the division I picked was for me.
Everything Else
Citi covered everything.
The networking was amazing, we even had chance to network with senior members which I never ever expected.
The social events were well planned and allowed the other interns to get to know each other.
I asked my buddy about this and apart from the gym I didn’t really understand there to be many. However this isn’t surprising with the long hours they are working.
100%!!!! I am amazed at how positive the internship was. I think it will be invaluable to my future career.
