The Role
Great work environment, enjoyed the work, but a lot of travelling.
Every member of the audit team is valued equally.
Any questions that you need answering are always answered with no hesitation.
I worked a considerable amount of hours over my contracted hours most weeks - especially during busy season
I had a lot of responsibility, especially at stock counts where I was the sole representative of the firm.
Picked up a lot of knowledge whilst on placement
The Company
Really friendly atmosphere and lots of social events
The placement wasn't structured brilliantly with exams happening almost as soon as I joined the firm.
I attended 3 courses to learn core skills and my revision courses for ICAS exams were paid for by the firm.
I have been offered a conditional graduate job there.
The Culture
Social events were often organised but the IPs were separated from the EY degree somewhat.
I lived at home during my placement which saved me a lot of money
Not many places to go at all
Loads of social events such as go karting, rock climbing etc
