About You
I enjoyed it very much. I also felt like the program ran quite smoothly and I felt like I was taken care of very well. I left with a much better idea of exactly what this business sector did and what roles I could see myself doing.Overall a very pleasant experience
I felt very valued. From the all inclusive accommodation and catering arrangement to the transport arrangements and the generous reimbursement package. All colleagues were more than happy to assist us and keep in contact after the spring week and to answer all questions as well as find out about our motivations and where we could fit.
I felt like it gave me a very good idea of what I could do beyond my degree in terms of my careers and more importantly how to prepare myself, my portofolioand my CV to showcase my skill set for whatever sector I choose to work in irrespective of my degree.
The Company
Considering how packed the schedule was, it ran in a very structured and planned manner. We always knew what we were to do courtesy of the app and agenda on it and the actual schedule pretty much followed what was planned. All staff and attendees also knew exactly what they were doing at all times.
The dress code was business business however the atmosphere was very warm, dressed down and calm. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and my fellow spring week were extremely friendly. Every body was very inquisitive and eager to gain as much information as possible which enabled the week to run in a fairly focused manner.
The CV workshop, whilst short, was very detailed and concise and I left understanding several ways I could change and improve my CV. All colleagues were also able to give us more individualized ways to stand out in the increasingly competitive job market and how to improve on our skill set.
The company values were continually reiterated by all colleagues in how they worked, how they interacted with their fellow colleagues, how they Carried themselves and how and what they spoke about. You could give an example of how each colleague acted in accordance to the company's five standards and values.
Extremely valuable. We were introduced to roles I had never even thought about and whole sectors I had never heard about.I gained a very good insight into possible career paths and what I could do after my degree and how to improve my skills set and CV to prepare me for this.
Everything Else
There was a networking breakfast, lunch and dinner at several points during the week with a range of different levels of employees at the bank as well as from different sectors and people from very varied educational backgrounds. This provides a lot of insight to the actual company and the variety of roles the company offers.
Yes we were. Employees were involved in a range of sport activities from fitness to friendly games of football. Some employees were also from varied places and so had very different experiences and activities outside of work. The actual grounds catered for a range of activities and provided a good variety of facilities.
Yes I definitely would. It was a very enjoyable, structured and informative week. We were treated very well and in a respectable manner throughout the week. Correspondence and organisation was excellent and we left having gained a much better insight into Fintech and how we could make our mark in this industry.
