About You
It was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so friendly and regardless of how bust they were, anyone would put time in their diary to have a conversation with you!
On my last day there was a member of the team leaving and I went to the leaving gathering and really felt part of the team after a week!
You have a 'mentor' for the week who you are with for the most part to show you everything but they also organise meeting for you with any one you want to see! I was in supply chain for the week but spent time with every other department that I asked to.
You can bring in so many real life examples and it makes you want to work hard to work at such a great company.
The Company
There is a social for everyone, you can have lunch with you team or other interns, and there are constant events on and meetings to attend so you wont get bored! Just ask questions and be interested.
So relaxed yet hard working. Every member of the team so so valued. Interns on a year placement were giving real roles and everyone was there to support eachother
it is only a week so they can only do so much but every day there was some from of training.
I was unsure what role to apply for so HR sat me down with other gads who had done the 2 roles I was questioning and that made my decision!
Everything I have said before leads up to that and I would love to work in such a culture
I was able to see what the different roles entail and then see where I would be most suited.
Everything Else
All travel and food expenses are paid for! and it very accessible and has a big cafe on site.
I was able to meet someone from every division and they were very happy to talk to me.
The networking was down to you. How many people do you want to meet? There was a social event for the interns and often we had lunch together.
there is a loreal charity foundation that anyone can get involved in in the firm.
it was so fun and I learn so much and would recommend it to anyone
