About You
The insight was very fruitful as all the 7 functions were introduced to us in detail. Also, the shadowing session was really helpful since we got to ask many questions.
Each session such as insight and networking gave us the chance to listen to current staff and even senior members which was really helpful.
All the presenters, graduates and seniors and networking are very helpful and the graduates I shadowed demonstrated many aspects of their work.
Though the information might not have immediate influence on my performan at the school, it helped me developed an overall picture of the financial sector which should eventually be useful to my study and work.
The Company
Insights from all the functions intertwined with networking allowed me to stay interested.
The atmosphere was slightly competitive since everyone srtived to show the best side of theirs but in general most of them were really nice and helpful.
Many senior were invited to give talks or network which was very precious resource.
The shadowing allowed me to visit the working area and experience the atmosphere of different functions.
The activity planned by HR graduates was a good demonstration of Barclays' core values. In addition, during shadowing, all the staff were really nice and patient to me so I got to feel the friendly atmosphere.
The content allowed me to have a basic understanding of all the functions and during networking I raised questions that really concerned me and the answers helped to build up a clearer picture.
Everything Else
Many useful networking opportunities.
There are people from a range of functions and current positions who provided insights from different perspectives.
Many mentioned studying for the qualification and the gym.
Definitely. It was very useful.
