The Role
My buddies made sure I was given interesting work and I was given opportunities to contribute to work for large MNCs and as well as writing part of reports by myself.
Everyone made an effort to get to know me and thanked me for my work.
I was encouraged to ask questions if I was unsure of anything and when I didn't understand something was given support to ensure I could finish my task.
Some days I had a lot of work and stayed behind to get it done, other days I had little to do.
Lots of responsibility was given and I was entrusted to work on various segments of work by myself.
The excel skills I gained are invaluable for my degree.
The Company
Lots of extracurricular stuff to do including treasure hunts and team drinks.
My graduate recruitment contact made sure I knew where I was meant to be at all times and that everything flowed smoothly.
They gave me training and made sure I was developing in the job, to help this we were given personal development meetings.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I've been offered a job with Deloitte in London!
The Culture
Everyone was really friendly and like minded - the induction week especially was a lot of fun and we often had drinks after work and went for lunch with each other.
I lived at home, drinks were fairly cheap.
In the centre of the city so lots of bars and clubs around!
Lots of sports teams and volunteer work available.
