About You
This insight has confirmed that my favourite choice of graduate job will be at EY. The people and culture make the firm stand out as the best option for me. The insight was a comprehensive overview of the roles available at EY and the beliefs and roles of the company as a whole
Yes the whole time people, both other students, hotel staff, and EY staff were helpful and suppprtive. Any questions, comments or conversations that I put forward we’re received with sincerity and I always received great responses Any questions, comments or conversations that I put forward we’re received with sincerity and I always received great responses.
From the minute I was offered the insight I have had emails containing all of the information that I required as well as the opportunity to ask any questions. During my time at the event I was made to feel entirely comfortable asking questions to all staff members who were all friendly and extremely helpful
I believe that the skills and knowledge that I have acquired in this insight will certainly help me when applying for further roles within EY and else where. I also hope that the presentation skills which I have worked on here will assist me with university assessments and real life situations in the world of work
The Company
The whole event was planned perfectly, regular breaks of good length as well as a good mix of informative sessions and getting involved in group discussions on tasks. The only structural issue I would say was the timing between the first day ending and the social starting was hugely underestimated however the social was great fun
Everyone at the event, students attending and EY staff members as well were all enthusiastic and seem excited to be there. The positive athmosphere was the best part of the event and makes me most excited to see more from EY as a company in the future hopefully as a member of staff
The training provided was comprehensive and I felt as though staff were always wanting to help you to get the most out of your experience. The training provided was comprehensive and I felt as though staff were always wanting to help you to get the most out of your experience.
Before the insight I had very little knowledge of tax or TAS but after this insight I feel as though I have a far clearer idea of what would be involved in a standard working day in a role at EY. This has only made me more excited to apply for a job at EY on the future
