About You
I did enjoy the programme thoroughly and I felt it was a good learning expericne for me. I got to learn more about EY as well as more about the various departments within EY. However I did enjoy the second day more than the first day since I felt that it was more interactive and involving.
I did feel that my time was value here at the discover EY programme. It was a good learning experience and I will be able to apply a lot of stuff I learned later on, and even in future job applications.
There was a lot of guidance during this programme. There were representatives from EY continuous walking around asking if anyone needed any assistance. Further, there was a speed networking session where we could interact with numerous people from ey across various departments.
The skills I developed will helped me in the future, especially in job applications and in assessments centres and interviews.
The Company
The insight always begun and ended on time. There were several breaks throughout the programme as well which were much appreciated by everyone.
It was very enthusiastic as everyone who had come clearly had a good knowledge of consulting and passionate in it as well.
The firm offered to pay for our stay and they paid for some of our meals as well, and it is clear that they took a considerable amount of effort hosting us.
I did help a lot since we got to know more about an office environment.
It definitely helped in understanding the company culture since we spoke to many EY employees who stressed on the nurturing environment at EY.
It was not too useful as they mainly focused on two departments within the firm.
Everything Else
Yes there was a speed networking session where we had the chance to meet several employees who worked at EY.
There was a social which was conducted at a bowling alley, due to which I had the chance of interacting with many people who I otherwise would not have met.
There was not much emphasis about what activities employees can get involved in outside of work.
I definitely would, it's not only a great learning experience but is also a great way to fast track yourself to getting an internship.
