About You
This is one of the best event I’ve attended because I get to participate in case studies, interactive activities and the chance to network with inspiring women from EY and different universities. I have a deeper understanding on the different service lines in EY and a clearer view of the firm.
The people I have met were really friendly. Throughout the application process until the event ends, I have received great support from the EY team and they are constantly keeping me up to date with useful information.
I had the chance to speak to people working in every service line of EY and I can see that EY truly values diversity and inclusiveness in the firm. They were always there whenever I have a question regarding the firm and the people were very friendly and approachable which I think greatly represents the culture of EY.
I’ve received valuable insights from women working in EY as well as the skills required for me to excel in financial services sector. I’ve also learned useful presentation and employability skills needed when pitching to a large group of people through case studies and mock assessment centres.
The Company
The programme was really well structured throughout the two days with sufficient time for participants to socialise and network. The pace is just right with everything included and I went back with a better understanding of what EY does and what each job entails.
All the EY employees were very friendly and they made sure that all of us felt welcomed and taken care of. All the students I’ve met are also very approachable and enthusiastic. It was a really nice experience to speak to so many of them that have the similar aspirations as me.
Through case studies and mock assessment centres and feedbacks given, I now understand more about my strengths and weaknesses to develop further myself.
Through the insight, the firm significantly show us what a full time role entails
From the attitude of the EY employees and visit to the EY office, I like the company culture which is very inclusive and diverse but still has a collaborative environment.
I have a clearer view of the people, culture and different service lines of EY and would definitely want to work in EY in the future.
Everything Else
EY settled all my travel expenses which I am really grateful for because I don’t have to worry about travelling to London.
I’ve had the chance to speak to people working in all service lines of EY including partners, senior managers, directors etc.
I’ve got the chance to network with people from EY working at different levels and get an insight into their daily work life. EY also made sure that the students are relaxed in the networking events.
There are many opportunities for the employees outside of work eg social events, games, sports, volunteering. Because of the collaborative culture of EY, there’s always support given by the team you’re working with.
Absolutely to students who has an interest working in the financial services sector because EY welcomes diversity and this is a great chance to understand the culture of the firm as well as each service lines entails of.
