The Role
Excellent mixture of work life balance, with an immense amount of responsibility.
Constant performance reviews with excellent feedback throughout the year.
As per previous comment.
Had a perfect amount of work. The focus was on personal development, though I never felt bored or thought I had nothing to do.
Huge amount of responsibility from presenting to customers to developing large scale internal applications.
Huge amount of new skills from personal to technical. Gained certification in a wide range of Microsoft products and a lot of personal development especially in presenting.
The Company
From pool tables to large atrium's to just sit down and have a coffee, it was a perfect environment to work in.
It is Microsoft - of course it is!
A huge amount of time and money is spent on Microsoft interns. We had great parties, and any training we could ever want.

The Culture
Every week their was something going on within the intern community. Using the internal mail system and Facebook groups, their was always something to do.
I was able to live at home, which saved me a lot of money. Also, all food was subsided by Microsoft which made it a lot cheaper.
OK, though Reading is not the best...
I presented to Students in schools and even cycled from London to paris!
