About You
it was a good experience to gain a basic knowledge of both the industry as a whole and Savills as a company. University is very much academic so it has been a good experience to actually know first hand what it is all about. I felt welcomed by many members of my team.
Everyone in my specific team was very nice, I always got asked if I wanted drinks or food etc. They included me in meetings, site visits and other activities to make me feel like I was part of the team.
I was given great guidance by a few of my team members. They gave me small tasks and kept me very busy doing spreadsheets etc during my time.
It is good to see what my modules relate to and what I am working towards in the future in my career, it allows me to relate academic studying to the industry itself.
The Company
I only got to listen to a few talks available on the programme because I wasn't aware until after that they were on.
Very good atmosphere, specific members are really easy to get on with.
The tasks weren't that challenging but they were valuable as I was doing comparables and finding the formulas.
I now know exactly what it would be like to work at Savills as a company and know.
I have learnt a lot about the structure of savills and what it is like as a company.
It has given me an insight into residential property which I have previously had little knowledge about.
Everything Else
Was reimbursed but I came from Nottingham and travelled to Birmingham so the train almost took up all the expenses for the week. I had to pay for lunch and car parking on top of this.
yes there was a lunch and drinks at lunch on separate occasions.
The lunch felt a little isolated as I had to go up to the separate groups talking on my own
Not aware of any of these that occur, was mentioned in a meeting about events but not much
Yes as it gives an insight into a property agent.
