The Role
I had an excellent time. The only criticism is their method of offering graduate jobs at the end.
My team and I got on extremely well and they certainly tried to make my time enjoyable.
My manager was always busy but was always willing to answer my questions.
Work hours were from 8:30 to 6:30, which were perfect to me.
I was given more important responsibilities towards the end, after I'd had more knowledge.
Training was minimal, but the knowledge gained from the internship would be helpful in future career.
The Company
It depends on the team.
It was well organised in general. They could have improved by setting up the computer system before we arrived. It hindered some interns' work a lot.
There was little training. There was certainly development from doing tasks and being shown how to do them.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Didn't get the graduate job offer so will not be able to start the graduate scheme but perhaps later on.
The Culture
Some of us met up for drinks after work about once a week.
Canary Wharf is not expected to be cheap.
Apart from bars after work, there is little else.
There was a volunteering day, a dragon boat race and talks from speakers.
