  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Very well organised week that challenges and stretches you, while providing huge amount of information and really building up your technical and soft skills.

  • The group is fairly large but splits off into smaller segments and everyone is incredibly warm and friendly.

  • The speed panels and work shadowing in particular provide excellent one on one guidance as you can ask specific questions in a close setting.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The self brand skills session and interview tips can be applied across many sectors while the technical knowledge will stand in good stead for a career in financial services industry.

  • There was no issues and all ran smoothly, with little waiting around.

  • Three was always something news and different everyday to challenge and excite you.

  • BAML really wants to develop you and has a fantastic feedback culture of openness, helping increase your self awareness.

  • In particular the work shadowing provides a fantastic opportunity to see what the roles involve in a real work setting.

  • You meet many different individuals throughout the week which helps you gain a perspective of the firm's culture and atmosphere.

  • Outstanding. Has really helped cement my decision about this career path and particularly helped decide within the sector as well.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Food provided every morning and lunchtime as well as evening restaurant meal.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Everyday you were exposed to many different individuals from all across the firm.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Really well organized with high level individuals as well as analysts closer to our age and experience. The Wednesday evening restaurant meal was a particular highlight.

  • Not a strong emphasis on this but the opportunities seem very good if you individually asked people about it.

  • Really good overall- provides skills, experiences and connections that should stand everyone in great stead in the future and is very fun and memorable!
