About You
it was an amazing experience that taught me a lot both about the various divisions and the bank in general
UBS is an amazing bank with an incredible culture. I felt valued since the very first day of the spring insight.
we had mock interviews and skills sessions that helped us to understand what the bank looks for during the assessment centre for a summer internship
they will definitely assist me in my future careers as these skills will be the ones that i'll need when ill start working
The Company
perfectly structured
the culture at ubs is unique, i could really see a difference between ubs and all the other banks. there has always been a general relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
they really invested in us not only in terms of money but also in terms of time and dedication. The effort they made to prepare everything is clearly evident.
it allowed me to understand which division i want to work in and what the culture at the bak is like.
i realised that what really differentiates ubs is its culture, the tight-knit and collegiate atmosphere that characterises the bank.
even though i already knew which division i wanted to work in, the insight allowed me to be more sure about my decision.
Everything Else
i was not paid for this experience. interns usually get paid when the experience lasts more than one week and the spring insight at UBS lasted only 3 days. Also, during the programme we were only participating in activities, such as talks, mock interviews etc that the bank had organised
yes, there was an event with representatives of various divisions.
everything was always perfectly organised and all the representatives of the firm who attended were genuinely friendly and willing to answer my questions
yes. Through the challenge i was able to find out even more about the company's policies and the various activities employees can get involved in. employees usually have various opportunities to meet such as social events, trips, talks etc. also, i was glad to find out that there are many volunteering initiatives
absolutely yes. the insight was an amazing experience and it really allowed me to gain an insight into the bank and its culture. I felt valued since the very first day of the programme and i realised that UBS is really the place where i want to work in the future.
