About You
In my opinion the insight programme was excellent. I believe I have gained valuable skills including networking and communication skills. Also the work shadowing has given me a great insight about what the functions of the firm are really like.
One of the main qualities of the firm is that all employees are very friendly and answered all questions we had. There was always a positive energy in the firm and all employees were very welcoming.
The employees that were in charge of the intern programme were extremely friendly and welcoming. They made the internship fun and very well structured. Also, they answered any queries we had and were always there to support us.
The internship motivated me to work harder through my degree. Also, I have developed many skills that have increased my employability.
The Company
The internship was very well structured and the various activities were really interesting.
The atmosphere was very welcoming and everyone was really friendly. In general, the internship was really fun and exciting.
The company really invested in the interns by developing our skills in networking, communication as well as critical thinking.
Work shadowing first year graduate employees really gave us an insight of what a full time role in the firm would be. Also, employees at the firm came to talk to us about the various tasks they carry out in their daily work.
The culture of the company is amazing. The company is very multicultural and every employee in the company is very unique and special. All employees are friendly with each other and there is a generally positive atmosphere.
The content included panels where employees of the firm talked to us about the work they do in JP Morgan and also the work shadowing on day three helped us to decide our future career path.
Everything Else
There were opportunities to network and meet other employees all the time. More specifically there was a networking event that enabled us to interact with senior managers.
They were really helpful in enabling us to decide what our future career path will be. They enabled us to increase our communication skills and at the same time increased our knowledge for the firm and banking in general.
Ofcourse, we were informed about the various volunteering JP Morgan is involved in as well as the sports society.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend since it provides a valuable insight to what the firm is really like and what the life of a banker actually is.
