About You
The insight was a fulfilling and exciting experience. The programme was designed to give an introduction to various teams in Banking & Risk at the firm, which it definitely did. It was very interactive and all the employees were happy to talk to you and give advice, which was great.
All Spring Week participants had many opportunities to participate in the activities and speak to other people. Everybody was very welcoming, starting with the HR staff all the way to the senior bankers.
The HR team was super helpful throughout the week if anybody experienced any issues. There was always someone to go to, which was nice.
The skills I developed and information I received will likely not assist me in my degree studies. However, it will definitely help me in my future career.
The Company
The programme was very well structured. All the timings in the schedule were adhered to, which made it easy to plan coffee chats with employees at the firm.
The general atmosphere was incredible, both between participants, and between participants and employees. We all felt welcome and not under pressure, and people were so nice and open-minded.
JP Morgan definitely invested a lot of resources in the programme and in the participants. This was especially clear when you saw how much time senior people spent on activities with us (presentations, networking sessions). Further, all teams were assigned a mentor that worked with or throughout the week. Our mentor was very helpful and definitely helped develop us, both as a team and as individuals.
To a very large extent. The programme was designed to help students understand how it is to work full time at JPM.
It helped a lot, especially through the networking sessions with employees at the firm, and by speaking to our mentor throughout the week.
Everything Else
There were plenty of networking opportunities, which was one of the best things about the programme.
It was a fantastic experience, so I would definitely recommend it to friends interested in the industry.
