About You
The insight was really interesting and I learned a great deal. I made many new connections with people from different universities and from within the firm too. I am excited to see what further opportunities there are at J.P.Morgan
Everyone really wanted to help me understand the work at JPMorgan and even MDs were really helpful and insightful.
We had a training session where we learned all the various functions of a bank and we were also given presentations by those working in those areas to give us a flavour of what a career at JPMorgan looks like. In addition, I was able to shadow an employee in the Sales team for an afternoon which was really interesting.
I firmly believe that the soft skills I acquired through the insight week will be valuable for the rest of my life and the technical skills will be extremely helpful in my career to come.
The Company
Very well structured and all packed in so that we made the most of the little time we had there.
JPMorgan had a really friendly, welcoming and down to earth atmosphere which I really appreciated.
The various talks and the training allowed me to excel drastically.
Having been able to shadow someone in sales and to listen in on some of their meetings allowed me to gain a flavour of the type of work they do on a daily basis.
The insight showed me that JPMorgan is invested in its people and its clients. History relates as well.
We were able to see all the different perspectives of the financial services and for this I was very grateful as it allowed me to realise which areas I am more suited to.
Everything Else
It would have been beneficial to have been paid but at the same time we were gaining such great experience anyway that it balanced out. Additionally, they paid for our lunches which was really good.
I met employees from all areas of the firm some of whom were extremely impressive individuals.
Really interesting and motivating.
Not really, unless we asked them during networking.
Yes, everyone would find this interesting and a friendly place to work.
