About You
The Spring Week within J.P.Morgan was great. It was organised very well. Every day was full of interesting activities. I feel really inspired to apply for a job in the company.
The program of the event included a lot of team working exercises. However, everyone's opinion really mattered. I felt like my comments or feedback was taken seriously. All of my questions were answered.
Everything was explained really well. In addition, there were lots of J.P.Morgan employees who happily answered any questions I had.
We had a lot of programming exercises, one to one conversations with employees about their work. We were shown the actual programs and projects they are working on. It was really related with Computer Science. Helped me to realise the areas I am most interested in.
The Company
Every hour during the day was planned well. Networking events and lunch/dinner breaks were at the right times. The travelling and accommodation were planned really well.
Everyone was really friendly. The participants had good team working skills. We nearly had no problems when working together. Employees were really informative and motivating. In addition, the office is really impressive with great views.
The company cares about everyone being listened. The work shadowing exercises were very informative. I felt like the company cared about my interest in the firm.
I had a chance to hear about different roles J.P.Morgan employees have. I feel like everyone had a chance to talk with the employees that do something they are interested in. Seeing the work place and project they are working on helped to really understand the life in the firm.
By being in the office and meeting the employees, it really helped to feel like part of the company. We did not just see the good part of the job. We were also shown how hard it might be to work there. Hence, we experienced how it is working there.
The content was really valuable. For example, the cyber security lecture inspired me to research more about the area and maybe even apply for future roles within the area.
Everything Else
Travel, food and accommodation expenses were paid. The hotel was quite close to the office.
Nearly every event included meeting the employees, hearing their feedback or seeing what they are working on.
We had networking breaks during the day as well as evening events in the pub. It was great to network with people in the office and outside it.
Yes. We were told about the sport activities employees can be involved in. Also taking part in the events J.P.Morgan sponsors.
Yes I heard about the spring week from a friend who also took part in it. I will strongly recommend it to my other friends as well.
