About You
Was very useful to get an idea of all the different divisions within the bank, especially friendly requiring little to no prior experience. Also had great access to senior leadership so was overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to find out more about the company and its work.
Felt very much a part of a family by the end; this was helped by having a small group size!
There was a large support system in place; everyone was friendly and easy to approach to ask questions.
The social skills were really useful and is something that translates to all areas of life. Finding out exactly what the roles of the divisions were from people who worked there was much more insightful than reading a website!!
The Company
Very well structured
Great atmosphere thanks to the other people on the scheme and the organisers
Lot of activities to develop skills such as presentations and group working techniques
The days lasted around the time of a normal working day so that alone was really useful. Hearing from employees also helped
Very open and collegiate environment : RISES
Was good as showed what i liked and didn't
Everything Else
Paid a one-off fee to cover expenses etc for the week
Yes many opportunities for this
Quite good; better when done as roundtables so is more organised rather than standing around
Some networks to get involved in, not extensive
Useful for anyone considering a career in banking
