About You
I met a lot of new and interesting people during the Spring Week. The organisation of the programme was carried out very professionally and I was provided with valuable insights into the business. The only that I missed during this insight was work shadowing which would have provided us with a hands-on work experience.
Every person I met was very open and honest about their jobs at the firm. They answered questions thoroughly and did not shy away from any question.
The programme was set up so that almost no prior knowledge was required and participants were encouraged to ask any question they might have, no matter how basic it might seem.
This programme provided me with insights which will be very useful in planning my carreer.
The Company
The organisation was perfect, everything was planned well and went according to schedule.
The people I met during this insight really made this a unique experience I can recommend to anyone who is interested. The atmosphere was very friendly throughout the programme.
They invested in me to the extent that the whole programme was free for participants while it provided us with a comprehensive overview of the company‘s activities.
As we were not doing any work shadowing, we only got insights into the daily work of employees during our networking sessions. However, we did a project which was supposed to give us a taste of what employees might do.
By presentations and talking to employees we got to know the comapny culture very well.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses as well as for most of the meals during the insight.
We had designated networking sessions with both junior and senior employees.
Junior and senior employees were invited to the sessions and were very open concerning questions.
We were informed about certain groups that would meet outside of work but this was not the focus of the programme.
It is a perfect opportunity to find about whether you can imagine working for this company and moreover you will meet many interesting people.
