About You
I enjoyed the program a lot. I think there was a great balance between networking and doing actual work.
Of course, it is difficult for a company to make interns feel valuable as we can only contribute very limited. However, I think that the graduate team did a great job in making sure that we felt valued at all times.
I received a lot of guidance and support from all parts of City. Especially, a big thanks to the graduate team, which was always very openminded and ready to help whatever issues we might had.
In advance, I was very determined about which degree I want. However, the stay did to some degree convince me that my choice is correct.
The Company
Very well structured. I can not find any negative things to say about this. Absolutely perfect.
The atmosphere was surprisingly fantastic. Not only did the graduate team and the other interns contribute to a good environment so did the current employees.
I got some fun things to do for the team in which I was placed. However, I would have liked to get some more work from other sides of the department. On the flip side of the coin, I also understand that this might be difficult to plan as we can only contribute very little to the work. Therefore, my expectations were highly met.
Because we were a part of a team I think that the interns receive a good impression of how it is to work for Citi. I liked that.
It is difficult to get a complete understanding of the firm's culture, however, taking the time constraint into consideration I am positively surprised.
It was very helpful. As I spook to a lot of people from different areas and desk I got a better understanding of the different responsibilities within the company. It improved my understanding of which areas I find more interesting than others.
Everything Else
Very good network events. In addition, I liked that the graduate team kind of pushed us to speak with other employees, if we not accomplished that so far in an event. Thumps up to the team again!
I think they were great. What I could have missed was the chance to speak to one employee, who is located in the absolute top of the bank. I know that his/her time is highly valued and therefore, I still provide this question with 9 stars.
I do not think we was introduced so much to this. However, we were introduced to some initiatives initiated by Citi, which sounded great.
Yes, absolutely.
