Spring Week into Finance and Business Management Review

I enjoyed the insight a lot and it had taught me a lot which is a good preparation for me to choose my field of interest. I learned that there are many divisions under a department and it gave me an overview of the entire department with various events held during the insight.

I feel very valued as all my queries were answered and they always responded to my doubts. Besides, they were a very good point of contact and were always ready to provide assistance at any time. Furthermore, they also always ensured that we were happy and satisfied with the event.

They gave a lot of support and guidance. Their insight was very useful as there were many talks from staffs from different divisions within the same department. Besides, there were a lot of networking opportunities where we were able to talk to people with different and a variety of experiences.

The skills developed and information received will surely assist me in my degree and beyond that. I learned a lot of CV skills which will be useful for job application. Besides, they also taught us ways to network with people which will be useful to communicate and expand my network when I am working later.

The insight was very well structured. They had agendas prepared at the beginning of the insight and everything went on very well as per the agenda. All the sessions were very useful and the events flowed smoothly. We were well equipped with a variety of events which gave us a better exposure.

The general atmosphere during the insight was great. Everyone including the campus recruitment team, the speakers, the analyst and all the participants were all very friendly. I enjoyed myself there and it felt like I had known them for a long time and they were all very helpful and kind.

Personal training and development was really good. There were speakers explaining to us CV skills and how to build our personal brand. Besides, we were also taught on how to pitch during an interview and on how to network with others. All these skills are very useful to be applied in future.

The insight has provided me a broad understanding on how it would be like to have a full time role within the company. We were given various opportunities to speak to senior executives. Besides, we were also provided with work shadowing opportunities to have an overview of how the divisions work.

It helped me quite a lot in understanding the company culture.

The content of the insights were very valuable to help me decide my future career path. They organised many kind of events which covered a lot of different aspects. An overview of Finance divisions were very useful as I know that the roles of various divisions within the same department.
