The Role
Excellent experience and insight into corporate world.
Very friendly, always there to help, great community.
Manager was support yet not stifling. Allowed me to find my own way but guided me along the way. Communicated wel, and explained what was expected of me. Was able to accomodate my request for a longer project.
Whilst on a project it can get very busy, with tight deadlines leading to a lot of work and several late nights. When not on a project I can be a lot more relaxed and stress-free.
Enough to make the work satisfying, challenging and enjoyable yet not so much I was overwhelmed. Considering that my qualifications consisted of merely my A-Levels I was given more than is expected of people of my age.
Excellent experience which developed confidence, maturity and provided a keen insight into the corporate world.
The Company
Busy, people were working hard, however never too busy to have a quick joke/chat and help you out.
Well organised, made sure I was seemlessly integrated into the company.
Provided options for me to improve my excel skills to aid the project work.
Subsidised Canteen
Working from home
Have the option to work with KPMG as a gradute. Will bypass the majority of the slection process.
The Culture
There were not that many placement students. About half a dozen spread between 2 offices
Central London - Fleet Street. Quite expensive.
Exciting!
Lots of opportunities to undertake voluntary work which KPMG is greatly advocates.
