About You
It was really great, we had a lot of sessions and activities that helped me understand the company and the different roles and divisions. The last day was the best one, job shadowing was great and the team exercises were a great way to bond with different people, would have loved to do more practical sessions!
From the moment I first walked into the building it felt like I was valued and respected. Everyone, even the very important and high executives, were treating us as if we were real employees and were open to discuss any topic with us. Really amazing culture and experience; I felt like I have had worked there for years.
Everyone was very approachable, even though all activities were explained clearly you could go to the HR employees to ask for support and they would help you.
I gained so much from this experience. Many concepts that weren't clear before are now, I also had the chance to experience the culture of the company and will for sure help me when applying to the summer internship. They are really focused on developing the soft skills and value, I'm taking with me many insights from the workshops that I will use in the future.
The Company
Well structured. The booklet that we were given had detailed information about what we were doing every day. Very helpful.
Amazing. The employees were super nice and wanted to help you at all times, my peers were super cool as well. We got along easily and it never felt like competition. I hope we all cross paths again someday - best of luck to all of them!
They organized many sessions with the aim of developing and improving our soft and personal skills. It was great training with excellent professionals.
I understand that the work we did can't be compared to what a real intern has to do, but I did have the chance to imagine myself working there in the future.
Since day one I saw how interiorized the company culture was to all employees, they foster collaboration and honest communication which are great values.
Many sessions were based on explaining what the company did and what divisions there are, I went from theory to practice and I now understand that financial service is what I want to do in the future.
Everything Else
My experience was excellent. JPMorgan paid for my accommodation (amazing hotel by the way), my flights and every other expense as well as for public transport for the whole week. Many thanks for everything!
Networking was very important in this program. We had the chance to meet and interact with many members from graduates and associates to Vice Presidents and Executive Directors. They were always happy to share their experience and knowledge with us and were really helpful. I now understand the importance of networking in this industry.
The social event with my division was great, we had the chance to interact with each other in a less formal environment and we had a lot of fun.
I was too focused on understanding what their roles and responsibilities within the company were that I barely got the chance to ask about their lives outside of the workplace. Nevertheless, I met later on with two associates who told me more about their personal lives and I was pleased to hear that there is room for a life outside the office as well.
Absolutely. It was very insightful, I got to learn a lot and I want to think that it has made me grow as a person.
