About You
An excellent opportunity to engage with people across all levels of the firm. Was engaged with real work, seeing both the fee earning and pro bono side of the firm. Doing the pro bono work was especially interesting as what I was doing was in the news just days after I the insight scheme.
Was given real responsibility to work during my incredibly short time at the firm.
Not massive amounts of guidance, but little was needed. Always felt as though I could approach my supervisor if I did have an issue.
Good grad rec talk at the end. Chance to understand more about applying for Vac Schemes next year.
The Company
Very very well!
Friendly, Welcoming, Warm, Open. The firm is investing time and money into the scheme. - They are looking out for people, and are looking to impress the students too. A real chance to gain a valuable insight. The atmosphere was very positive.

Everything Else
£144 for 2 days
Network lunches with trainees and associates, and leaving drinks with supervisor at the end of the scheme.
Lots of networking events, social events on first day included lunch and a meal out with activity. Second day included networking lunch and networking leaving drinks.
Not many opportunities to find out about external activities, however I'm sure if I had asked more questions about this then people would have been happy to share.
Would definitely recommend this insight opportunity to a friend. A valuable insight
