Front Office Spring Intern Review

I enjoyed every day at Barclays during my Front Office Spring Week. I met some incredibly talented people and it was a huge privilege to spend the whole week meeting, listening and learning from them. From the very first day till the last day when we needed to present our projects it was a one unforgettable adventure!

I personally felt very valued throughout the whole week. Barclays were looking at us as individuals so we were able to be ourselves and show our true face. I was feeling it in every meeting with current employees during networking events or when we needed to express own opinions towards some specific aspects.

Throughout the week I received as much support as I asked for. Campus recruiters were extremely helpful with any issue we may had. Also, other employees at Barclays were ready to guide you in every difficult situation we may got involved in. Overall, the support and guidance were brilliant and many thanks to people who were giving it.

During Spring Week at Barclays we developed many different skills and other attributes. I boosted my communication and networking skills that are crucial for a successful future career. Also, a deep insight into banking is going to be very appreciated for the career in banking industry. Also, the behavioural lessons were very useful too.

Barclays Spring Week was extremely well structured. All the presentations were on time and nothing overran. It was enough time to listen, learn and network with current employees at Barclays. Many thanks to campus recruiters for organising and supervising the whole week so smoothly. Overall, the whole week was organised just perfectly!

The atmosphere was really good. There was not a lot of competition among spring interns as Barclays values every intern. I met many incredibly smart and talented people and I believe we will keep in contact for many years. The atmosphere in different divisions was great too. Overall, I really enjoyed the whole week

It really helped me to realize what to expect working at Barclays. All conversations I had with current employees at Barclays opened my eyes towards specific aspects at the company and contributed to a better understanding on how Barclays operate and what they value. Overall, Spring Week had a huge impact on my understanding how the usual day at Barclays looks like.

Spring Week at Barclays really helped me to understand the company’s culture at a very wide extent.
