About You
Was great to have a chance to shadow people doing live work and talk to them at length about their experiences. Talks were also informative.
My buddy and team around him treated me very well, especially considering how much work they have on. They were always willing to help
Again, the team I was with was brilliant at giving me help whenever needed.
Not so much for my degree, but in terms of skills I hope to use when I’m out of university, I learnt an awful lot which I will be able to apply in a later job.
The Company
Info book was clear with our timetable, and there was a good balance of work shadowing and talks.
Citi employees all treated us excellently and made us feel very welcome.
The fact we had a buddy and manager shows citi giving us as close to on the job training as possible
Got to see want the employees were doing live. Difficult to do much of that work myself due to technical and confidentiality reasons, but shadowing gave me a good idea
Again, being on the floor seeing the team work gave me all the information i needed about citi culture in reality.
An internship will be the deciding factor when you sit down and work for some time on the job, but you this has been a step in the right direction
Everything Else
Reimbursement covered all that was needed
Yes, networking at both junior and senior level was enjoyable and relaxed, leading to good conversations
See above
Yes, although there isn’t that much time! Initiatives like the charity mission in africa were explained
Yes certainly, I learnt a lot
