About You
I really enjoyed the five days I spent at J.P. Morgan. The programme was tailored for us to fully understand Banking & Risk, improve our soft and hard skills and I will keep in touch with the other interns.
J.P. Morgan organised some networking events, for the interns only and we felt like being part of the team.
We all received mentors during the IB Case study, which was really appreciable. I have also kept in touch with my interviewer and was able to meet her for lunch. The people I met showed great support to me during this week.
I have improved both my soft and hard skills. The case study improved my knowledge of valuation and will help me in my studies for instance. All in all, each session developed my communication and networking skills.
The Company
The programme was tailored for us to understand each of the businesses one by one and progressively. It was a good mix between workshops / concrete applications, presentations and networking events.
Because we had the opportunity to meet each other in the late afternoon during networking events, the atmosphere between the interns was very good all along the programme!
J.P. Morgan helped me develop my communication, presentation and networking sills and gave us a tailored training which will help me in my future career.
I truly understand J.P. Morgan culture and I fully endorse its values, allowing its employees to develop their capacities, capabilities and talent.
By meeting employees, listening to panels and presentation, but also by having mentors and people that were willing to help me and to meet me all along the insight. I truly endorse the collegial culture.
I am convinced that this insight confirmed my motivation to a pursue a career in Investment Banking, because I really enjoyed the case study, as well as meeting outstanding personalities.
Everything Else
J.P. Morgan also took in charge travel, accommodation and breakfasts, lunches and diners.
A lot!
We had many networking opportunities, as during the free time at lunch, we were able to go and meet by ourselves J.P. Morgan representatives.
Yes, there are many programmes to be involved with, thus promoting diversity.
Definitely!
