The Role
Enjoyed the friendly office atmosphere and the events put on for us interns
I felt like any work given to me was appreciated
They continually checked I had enough to do and had gained a wide range of experiences
Some days there was not much people were able to give me to do, but other days I was pretty busy
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility in the tasks I was set, but nothing was a big enough job that I felt pressured to not make and mistakes
I got to experience several aspects of the job which I hope to build on once joining the firm.
The Company
The atmosphere was really friendly and despite people being very busy, it felt pretty relaxed
The events run especially for interns were great and the training at the start was good. There could have been a bit more planned in advance in terms of the work we were to be given though.
The first week was an induction week, paid for by the firm, in order to prepare me for life in the office. There was also a lot of time invested into explaining things to me and making sure I got the best experience.
I look forward to commencing my graduate job with them in August.
The Culture
Yeah there was plenty of socialising between interns, although not so much with the rest of the office.
I worked in Reading so it was probably about as much as would be expected.
There weren't a huge number of places to go, but the area seemed quite nice.
No not really. I don't think they really had any sports teams or anything.
