The Role
It was hard work at first. But it was very rewarding and I am extremely grateful for all that I have learnt. the skills I have gained are vital to succeed in my future career.
I got off to a rocky start with my manager, but the issue got quickly resolved and my team mates proved to be two of my best friends at IBM.
The care they take is great. If you have an issue, they will stop at nothing to help you and the guidance they can provide has come from many years of experience.
There were times when I could have worked a lot later in to the night if I needed to, but it was not the end of the world if you didn't.
I, alongside two of my colleagues, were solely responsible for the organisation of a graduate induction course that lasted 3 weeks. we had senior people in the company ask us questions on a daily basis.
I will adopt a great work ethic for my final year at university after working full time for a year. Also, I have learnt skills that will definitely come in to use in my future career, such as communication, organisation, teamwork and 'dealing with difficult people'.
The Company
not the greatest, a lot of people are generally too busy to talk and I did not know the people around me.
Very well organised.
there are always opportunities to learn new things, whether it is though online learning or workshops and giveback opportunities.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
