    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight programme at Citi Bank has been such a fantastic experience for me, as I can honestly say it has made my passion for banking even greater. The programme enabled me to witness the work of bankers, but also the appreciate the skills required to thrive in the business. Still in contact with many of professionals I met during the placement.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The workers at Citi bank made a lot of effort to make sure, as a student I was making the most of my time and always made sure I was occupied with something to do that would increase my understanding. For this I can only say I am very grateful, as this allowed me to appreciate their work even more.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Plenty of support and guidance was given to me throughout my stay, and this made sure I was always on track. Any questions I had would always be answered by the staff, and at then of every day, the woman who was looking after me, would have a debrief session with me

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This experience has allowed me to enhance my skills set, and believe this will be very useful in my career. As a banker, you have the opportunity to work all around the world, and I strongly believe that this would allow me to stand out amongst other workers, but also allow me to thrive in these situations.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • There was a decent structure to the insight programme, which I believe allowed me to make the most out of the programme. The debrief session at the end of each day is what I thought was the most useful addition, which i was able to sort out with the woman who was in charge of me.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere in the workplace was very pleasant and quite chilled, but in a professional sense. All the workers were serious about the work they do, but were always willing to help whenever needed. I am forever grateful for the attitude and actions of all the members of staff I came into contact with.
