The Role
Absolutely loved my year in Industry. Have had the best time with my team, the intern community and L'Oreal as a whole. I don't want to leave!
Being in a small, close team, we work together a lot and value everyone's contribution to projects. My team are always there for advice and support, both positive and constructive.
Given support and guidance when needed but also the responsibility to take on and lead my own projects and initiatives.
L'Oreal is a busy place, so no day is ever dull! My role varied depending on the time of the month, but through managing your time carefully you learn the importance of prioritising.
Surprisingly a lot! Through speaking to my manager I was able to get involved in projects which I was interested in and be able to lead some too, which has been an amazing experience.
I have learnt a huge amount this year. I have been able to go to external training sessions to improve my impact and influencing skills, team training and internally learning on the role. My excel and time management skills have improved significantly, together with my overall confidence.
The Company
My team had a great atmosphere as we get on so well together. Other teams could be different, but from my experience everyone has been supportive and very friendly.
Well organised with the opportunity to get involved a lot.
Very much so - they are always encouraging us to get involved in external and internal training to improve our skills and competencies.

The Culture
Intern and Grad committee set up with fortnightly events / nights out which have been great.
