The Role
Fantastic Placement with fantastic levels of responsibility and variety of work.
All of your colleagues give you support if needed as well as the chance of extra responsibility within the day to day work.
Primarily, my mentor was excellent with support if ever I needed any as well as all Management within Store and Head Office.
Some days were extremely busy however on the whole my work-life balance was okay.
I had high levels of responsibility within my Placement Year both in Store and Head Office. It was far above responsibility levels of some of my friends i other Placements.
I have gained a real understanding of how to manage people during my Placement year as well as how to balance workloads. These are two skills which I feel will be invaluable.
The Company
It was an excellent level of enjoyment whilst still getting a the required amount of work done.
Every week was planned and ran perfectly, it is far above the levels of organisation of other Placements I am aware of.
As a company, they invested hugely in me as a Placement student through the high levels of responsibility they gave me.
Above 25 days holiday
The Placement Year has given me an excellent overview of what the company would be like to work for and I am hoping for a Job Offer from the Company.
The Culture
We did not spend a great deal of time socializing with each other and definitely should have done this more.
I worked within my home town of Birmingham therefore it was prices which I am already used to.
I worked within my home town of Birmingham therefore it was exactly what I am already used to.
