The Role
I enjoyed my work placement as the staff at BMW group made me feel like I was at home! Also they gave me an office room that looked really comfortable and it did make feel comfortable. Their hot drink in the morning energized me to work and I've never enjoyed such an experience like this.
I love making new friends/colleagues and in fact I did make a lot of friends at the BMW group so I was pretty proud. My friends helped me out and we had a lovely time so I'm proud of them. They also treated me with some respect so I wasn't nervous at all!
My given support was fantastic as the staff were really kind and nice. They guided me to the places that I didn't know so I was pretty impressed by that. It also built my confidence around the BMW group. I also had an excellent opportunity to look around so I'm really proud of the staff that gave me so much support.
I was on a perfect balance actually because whenever I was tired from working in the office, there was always a colleague that helped me out. The staff also gave me a 1 hour break for me to go outside so I was really happy as I got have some great lunch.
As I was new to the BMW group, the staff had advised me to not take that much responsibility at times as it was really hard. But I was responsible for some things such as maintaining the office so that did build up maintenance skills so I was pretty proud of myself.
The skills I developed were mainly my confident and maintenance skills because I wasn't pretty good at those skills before my placement. I also received a lot of training from the staff so it did assist me in my future career. In fact, the BMW group had helped me out in so much things.
The Company
The general atmosphere was great in my office as I had a luxurious and comfortable office. It was all neat and tidy when I arrived to the office so I really appreciate that. Also I had my own table with my own things so I had a great experience in my office skills,
The overall work placement was amazingly setup so I really appreciate that. Another thing was that the office was setup in a luxurious way so that the visitors/customers were impressed. This made me really happy as the customers gave me so much respect because of the setup.
In terms of personal training and development, the company gave so much training as I was a bit weak in some of my working skills. I was also really impressed by the staff that provided me so much personal training . This built my working skills to another high level.
Working from home
The future employment in the BMW group will be great within the organisation. The future employment will be also appealing as it does have a great presentation so the employment will be successful. This is because the BMW group has a great review so it will a great prospect within the organisation.
The Culture
I'm still in a great relationship with my colleagues and I'm still in contact with my colleagues. This is because the BMW group had a comfortable space for staff to have breaks. So me and my colleagues had a strong social relationship. If my colleagues weren't there then I wouldn't have a great social life.
I didn't have any concerns with any cost of living because my house wasn't far from my work place. Also I had a great lunch at some amazing restaurants so I did have a fantastic time with my colleagues. The area I worked in was amazing because it is really safe at any time.
The nightlife in the area I worked in was awesome as there were so many restaurants and nightclubs. Sometimes my work had finished late so me and my colleagues had went to some restaurants. The area also has so much transport so I was pretty amazed by the transport from the area.
There wasn't that much opportunities to get involved in outside of work and I was pretty disappointed. However my colleagues recommended me an area to go to so I can get involved in some activities. Unfortunately, I did have to travel really far to get there with my colleagues so it did cost me a lot to get there.
