The Role
My placement has been very enjoyable as I am seen as an employee rather than an intern
Very valued, especially as I get to go to all the events and get to take part in office competitions etc.
Very much so, we even get given the ability to go on a 5 days training course
Extremely busy, almost not enough hours in the day to get all the work done
a lot of responsibility, again as mentioned before I am seen as an equal employee rather than an intern
The interpersonal and social skills I have developed along side my increased self confidence will most definitely help me in any field of work in the future.
The Company
It is a very corporate environment therefore being quite serious. However once work is over, we usually go fro drinks etc
Very well organised, we are provided with lots of training and help
I have definitely developed many skills that I will be able to use in the future, in particular my ability to communicate with strangers and my ability to be extremely organised and focused
Company Parties/Events
I have been offered a full time job following my degree
The Culture
There was three of us in the office, however on different specialisms
Due to my office being in the more corporate area of Bristol, quite expensive
It was good we would always have the occasional night out and a few drinks almost every Friday
Not as many for interns
