The Role
I enjoyed working for Enterprise a lot, the employees are fun, friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you start.
At the end of each day, my manager would thank us all for our work that day. If we had to stay later, we were always given something (usually food, our request) as a thank you so it didn't seem as bad.
I was always given feedback on how to improve throughout my placement year from colleagues and managers which helped me to progress and improve my confidence. Monthly, I would sit down with my manager and discuss how the previous month had been and what I can do to achieve my goals the following month.
Some days we were very quiet, so we had time to catch up on folders, do admin etc and others we were very busy, depending on how many deals we had each day. Mostly, it was a good balance and tasks were spread out equally.
You are given responsibility from the first day, as you are able to make your own decisions to ensure customers leave completely satisfied. As the months went on, I was given more responsibility and managed to 'run the day' on a weekly basis.
I feel I have developed skills that will help me in the future. My confidence has improved a lot, and I am able to face difficult/ challenging situations better and in a more appropriate manner. My time management has improved and I am more aware/ conscious of how long each task will take
The Company
It was a fun and friendly atmosphere, where we all worked together and helped one another and took things in turn to make it more fair. I felt that my managers didn't think they were higher/ better than me and we were all equal, making it easier to ask for help.
It was very easy, after the interviews and assessment center I was given a start date where I attended training for a week. After that I attended training every few months to ensure that I was progressing enough.
My managers always set time both inside and outside of work to make sure that I was ready for my skills test I had to take, as well as giving me 30, 60 and 1 year reviews to give me feedback on how I am doing so far. If I was unsure of how to do something they always helped.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
There are great opportunities for promotion.
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly and approachable, and I have made friends that I am still in contact with, as well as those who have left the company.
I lived in central London, so accommodation was expensive, yet affordable.
There are many places to go out.
There are many things that you can do, we had area nights out, charity events and balls.
