The Role
My internship at Deloitte was a very pleasant experience - I really enjoyed it! I gained a much deeper insight into the two service lines I interned in, as well as the company culture.
Everyone was super friendly, and my input was valued. I've made some great friends during my time there.
My buddies were really helpful - they were always there by my side, whether I needed help or not. They checked up on me regularly.
I was given just the right amount of work - enough work to keep me occupied, but not too much. My colleagues made sure I always had something to do, so I could get the most out of my time there.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility during my time at Deloitte. For the first few days, I was given some relatively simple ad-hoc tasks to complete. After I had settled into the firm, my colleagues had given me more important tasks to do.
The portfolio of professional skills I've developed will prove to be extremely valuable useful in the future, for example, my time management, multi-tasking and team working skills.
The Company
I really loved the atmosphere here - it was a really friendly and relaxing environment. There is a lot of laughter and jokes in the office, which is always nice!
This scheme was very well organised - I experienced no difficulties.
I received some induction training for 3 days, followed by some service line specific and IT training for a day in the office.
I've secured a graduate job with them!
The Culture
Yes! Everyone got on with each other.
We went out frequently, and the prices were very reasonable!
There are many bars and clubs around.
There are always social gatherings after work - partner drinks, drinks with your buddies, lunch and dinner with your fellow colleagues - there's at least 2 events each week!
