The Role
My placement year at IBM has been a great learning experience. Right from day one of the placement, I was doing a demanding day job, interacting with IBM’s biggest clients on a daily basis and doing work that really mattered. Apart from the basic job role, I also got a multitude of opportunities to giveback to the society and be part of various community events. I also got to shadow several people within the business and got several networking opportunities throughout the year. The various training and development opportunities have helped me to achieve IBM certifications and badges both within and outside my job role. Overall, it has been a great year and has given me a wealth of opportunities to build a strong foundation for my career. I would recommend a placement year at IBM to anyone looking for a challenging and intellectually stimulating work experience.
