The Role
I was in a small team so I was given a lot of responsibility and my input was valued by my team.
Again as I was in a small team we worked very closely and supported each other on all projects.
L’Oreal is a face paced business and some days can be super busy. I never had nothing to do, but some times are quieter than others.
I was given large projects that were global initiatives to manage for my team.
I hope some of what I have learnt will help my degree but most of my modules are quite specific and I’m not sure how much I have learnt will be transferable.
The Company
The atmosphere is generally good. Sometimes people can be quite stressed at certain times of the year but this would be expected in any business.
At the start of your placement you set objectives which you regularly review with your manager to make sure you are on track. The HR team are also very involved and make sure everyone knows what the next steps in their placement are at all times from before starting right to the end.
We have regular intern training sessions either the other interns in the division.
