The Role
Interesting and varied workload
The team was used to dealing with placement students and welcomed them
Given all necessary support and was on-hand if required but gave me space to get on and do my work in the way that I wanted to.
I was given a main project & a couple of side-line bits of work so I always had something to do.
My work had a serious impact on how the business was going to operate over the next 3 years.
Developed a bunch of soft-skills in addition to the nuts & bolts required for the projects I had been given - all useful stuff.
The Company
It was an office environment, but no complaints.
Ready to go from day-one or at least the first week.
They were prepared to fund any suitable training I needed to do my job.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Opens doors for access to the grad scheme.
The Culture
Those who wanted to, sorted events / nights out.
Standard.
Average for a medium-sized town.
Plenty if you're prepared to look around.
