  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I managed to meet wonderful people throughout my placement year and boost my network that enabled me to reach personal development.

    • CA Technologies has a strong culture, everyone is very helpful and supportive even in our busiest periods. Enjoyed working in the team and develop my team working skills.

    • I have been extremely self-driven and motivated to learn more things as much as I can and with the further guidance and support from my team I managed to develop exceptional skills.

    • Because of the nature of my jobs some days were busier than others, but overall my whole day is busy enough to handle it.

    • I was given many responsibilities once I have learnt how to accomplish my daily work.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I gained presentation skills which will help me to perform better in my final year. I am much more confident in sharing my opinion and thoughts.

    • Enjoyable and supportive.

    • There are some aspects for improvement, but I was proactive enough to help organising it.

    • Have been given online training, 1:1 sessions and got the opportunity to travel.

    • There are some junior positions available in CA Technologies, however, graduate schemes would be a good idea.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I made good friendships with my fellow placement students.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I am based in Datchet,UK so cost of living is much less than in London, UK.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Where I was based (Datchet), it's a very small industrial town and for better nightlife WIndsor is the closest option.

    • Yes, volunteering in STEM events, charity runs, etc.
