The Role
It was a good experience, I learned a lot from the day to day activity in my job. the work environment is nice and friendly, all my colleagues were willing to help and support. I didn't find it hard to adapt and to make new friends, seniors or my age.
My Manager was very supportive of my job. he didn't care if there's something that I don't know as long as I know who to ask. I learned a lot from him. Alos my manger's manager she is very helpful and has an open door policy if I have any concern I can always talk to her directly.
It depends on what project I am working on, some days can be very busy especially when it includes organizing events and communicating with customers face to face. other days can be quite especially in between projects. it was never so busy that I felt so pressured or stressed, and there's always someone to help when needed.
I was trusted by my team to take responsibility for a lot of projects. I initiated and started projects from the scratch. I helped to organize abroad events. my manager gave me the authority to approve budgets and projects on my own. but it always depends on the project itself and the experience of the intern.
I developed a lot of skills from my internship, I learned a lot about the concept of working in a global company, Also Improved my communication skills, by communicating to my team which is located in different countries but still managed to work together effectively as we were in one office.
The Company
The work environment is so friendly, nice and helpful. there is a lot of activity held in the office. Most of the people here are very friendly, no matter what grade they are, they are open-minded to differences and always tried the others they way they like to be treated.
I didn't have the chance to attend the handover month, I arrived after the rest of the interns. so I didn't get a proper orientation for the place and the placement. but my manager he was very helpful with sitting my goals for the internship and what I want to learn.
There are a lot of training and materials available to use at any time, there are some mandatory training, and others optional. also as an Intel employee, you get a Pro subscription in Lynda website. which includes a lot of helpful courses, resources, in differant topics, business, technical and soft skills.

The Culture
The cost of living is good compared to the income/salary getting. renting a place a good place is hard to find but not so expensive it's moderate. the city itself is boring and not a lot of activity to do, but the good side is that it would push you to travel to other cities.
Not so good, only two nice clubs to go, one is for underage people and not so cool. and the other is nicer but overage sometimes. unfortunately, there are not a lot of choices in the city of Swindon. but there is some restaurant that opens late and also big hypermarkets.
with the work yes, there are some. like a BBQ to celebrate the world cup. some other event that organized but the company, including trips to London. some are volunteering work in the city. the interns are always keen to organize an event once per month to get all together and have some fun.
