The Role
I had a brilliant time working with inspiring professionals as part of a supportive and encouraging team. I have learnt more than in my two years at Uni and was trusted with leading important projects.
Extremely valued and appreciated for delivering good results and bringing in new ways of thinking
My role required to be quite self sufficient as my team is mostly working remotely. However there was always someone I could reach iut to for help and advise
The majority of the time I had to deal with a high workload which was because I challenged myself to get involved as much as possible... there was always plenty to do to ever be bored
I have been taken the lead for three projects and was dealing with senior stakeholders sometimes on a weekly basis. My friends and family were surprised how much my role was as if I was a permanent employee rather than an internship.
I have never learnt so much and gained so much confidence in a year before and it makes me ahead if the game when applying to grad schemes
The Company
Welcoming, open and collaborative. People are passionate about what they do and keen to get to know you :) Everyone is happy to help and doesn’t treat as ‘just an intern’ but like everyone else
We had to restructure my team due to global changes but my manager ensured that we were aware and working together to make the change as smooth as possible. Great handover
I was encouraged to treat this year as development opportunity and my request to attend training as well as the compulsory modules were seen very positively by my team :)
