The Role
It was a thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
There was a real sense of team-work and mutual respect.
There was a great network of support at our disposal.
The days were hectic but there was time to appreciate and reflect on what we had learned and contributed.
There was a real onus on both team and individual contributions, which was a great motivator.
I felt I gained some universally applicable skills along the way and understood better how I work in teams.
The Company
Networking was highly emphasised and there was a great community spirit.
It was clear the entire program was meticulously planned.
It's refreshing to see a company put so much effort into such a program.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Several weeks later I was offered a Summer Internship and had a choice of most lines of service. There were no further hurdles to jump through so it was a highly efficient process.
The Culture
Everyone was down to earth and the atmosphere was great among us.
PwC were kind enough to subsidise drink costs.
There were few amenities nearby other than the hotel's bar.
It was a hectic program but there was some flexibility to pursue alternative opportunities.
