The Role
My time at Enterprise Rent A Car had enjoyable moments, especially with the team that I worked alongside with. However, there were tough moments where the hours were tiring and there was a lot of driving.
My colleagues at Enterprise were lovely and did make me feel valued and happy.
I was given guidance and support from my managers during my time at Enterprise, there was a lot of constructive criticism throughout the year.
On a daily basis, it did vary. One day we would be super busy and the next day we would be dead. But there was always something to do.
I was given a sufficient amount of responsibility during my time and Enterprise and given a vast number of tasks to be in charge of.
I definitely would say I developed customer service skills that helped with my confidence and showed me strengths that I wasn't aware of before.
The Company
The general atmosphere was okay. Generally people have ups and downs but there were days where the office was extremely positive and a fun place to be.
The overall work placement was very well structured and well organized. Everything was set up in the folder which you are given at the start and you are made fully aware of how the placement will go structurally.
Personal training was something that was lacking, in all honesty at Enterprise. A lot more focus needs to be on the individual and their development.
Financial Bonus
For me personally, not appealing. However, there are a lot of opportunities for progression and future employment after the placement year.
The Culture
There was a social scene amongst the colleagues but that was fully depended on yourself as an individual and how social you want to be.
The area I worked in personally was not the cheapest. Therefore going out after work wasn't something we did.
There was no real nightlife in the area in which I worked, to be perfectly honest.
There were a few activities to get involved in outside of work, like volunteering and a few events as well.
