The Role
I liked the aspect of seeing both the management and the technical side of the placement.
Highly valued and treated like an employee, very open to the suggestions I made for a problem.
At all times, my manager or tem members would stop their work mid way and guide me if I needed it.
I worked on multiple projects during my placement which resulted in the workload to vary quite a bit.
I was assigned multiple projects which I personally led and implemented, directly affecting the production line at our site.
To a great extent, I was fortunate to apply the skills I learnt at university but also learnt a wide variety of soft skills such as time management, project management, communication skills.
The Company
Friendly and relaxed. I was surprised by it. The people work seriously but never miss an opportunity to have a laugh or a conversation.
It was well organised, from regular training sessions to feedback and the workload.
Regular training sessions from external training personnel, insights training to give an idea of our working style and feedback to improve.

Working from home
Yes, there is a graduate leadership development programme which you can enrol once you complete the internship. It helps you attain a charterhship as well.
The Culture
There are a few interns with you on site where you can organise a night out or a social but you also get to meet other interns during training sessions as well.
The cost of living and socialising is moderate, but at the end of the day, it depends on your spending habits.
The nightlife was a bit dull but if you were willing to travel for 30-40mins, you were in close proximity of a big city.
There are sporting clubs and charities to get involved in every week.
