I was shadowing a partner at the firm during the week, so very much observing and learning.

Lots of guidance and support. I received a booklet at the beginning detailing aims/objectives and skills I was to accomplish.

The insight was very different to my degree studies. It has assisted me in my professional development and career.

Very well - I had a full induction to the company on the first day and was able to attend a variety of meetings, conference calls and complete projects.

Great - really friendly office and team. So general atmosphere was amazing, and the programme was the first of its kind so the company was excited to run it.

A lot - I was a taken on for a week. The time and effort put into the programme greatly exceeded my expectations.

Pretty much a full understanding. Shadowing provides a great opportunity to see what a full time role would be like because you are following in the footsteps of someone on the job.

Yes. Attending meetings gave me many opportunities to meet other employees of the firm, but it was up to me to follow such connections up.

I was lucky enough to have lunch with the people I was shadowing, which helped me to network further with them. I was only at the company for a week so there were no formal social events.

Absolutely! I heard about secondments, charity opportunities and also sports teams, which are something that I am really interested in.

Yes - without a doubt! Well organised, well run and high level exposure to the business.
