The Role
the environment is fun and the culture is relaxed
my immediate colleagues i would say yes, in the wider aspects of the business not so much.
my manager has provided excellent support and guidance, helping improve my office and personal skills.
there is always something do to and learn so i was constantly busy.
it depends on the kind of desk you work on, i was sat on a 180 desk rather than a 360 to my responsibility was less than others. this is something i would have liked to have more involvement with.
the espouse this has given me to the wider variety of roles available is huge.
The Company
it was a fun and bubbly environment however there can be periods of down time such as school breaks when everything is quite.
there is a solid set up for interns with rewards and incentives
the firm provides little training apart from a few days at the beginning, most of the training comes from your direct manager and the individuals around you.
Financial Bonus
it depends on where you want to go, recruitment will allow you to walk into any other recruitment firm as Hays are regarded as being one of the best. in other areas you may struggle
The Culture
hays has a strong social culture and will always find someone to have a good time with post work
London is very expensive.
there are loads of good bars and nightclubs around London
apart from socialising there are no external activities
