The Role
When I had asked for more responsibilities and tasks, my Task Manager actively tried to find tasks and increased my responsibilities in areas I enjoyed.
My placement started off a bit quiet but I asked for more responsibilities that which then increased my daily schedule. There are also 'givebacks' you can participate in which you can use for networking, to gain feedback and increase your responsibliities.
I assisted in managing a team and was trusted to manage the team when the Team Manager was on leave.
The Company
The office started out quite busy, but quietened down as the months progressed. Everyone is happy to help if you have questions and will generally send a message/ping you later on if they are busy.
Flexi Time
Working from home
As an intern, you are able to 'skip' the assessment centre stage of the graduate application process and having worked with the company, you are able to access a lot of resources as well as attend workshops/career events to provide you with more information as to what the hiring managers are looking for. You are not guaranteed a role and still have to fill out an application form. Your time at the placement is used to assess how suitable you are.
